ZAK&CHARLOTTEstudio

With the aim of transforming performance art and theatre through a blend of physical and virtual workflows, Zak and Charlotte explore how movement can influence a hybrid stage. Driven by themes of existentialism and memory, they work together to visualise and make the “intangible” immersive. Balancing between research-based systemic design and performance-through-play approach, they collaborate to produce unique and highly adaptive pieces of experimental theatre.

Some Things Last A Long Time

An ongoing research presentation navigating the act of moving forward, what we carry with us and which sounds play inside of us.

Quote from Theatre Aan de Rijn:

“Charlotte works from the body and tries to make the way our brain stores memories tangible. Together with designer Zak Lennard they explore the physical experience of remembering and visualizing this inner world with the help of digital design.”
